One Way to Get a Proof of Concept for a Traditional Product

LinkedIn connection M. recently tipped me off to the great infrastructure built at ProFounder.com, which has since shut down, but one of the most interesting things I found while browsing ProFounder's site was their suggestion that people seeking crowdfunding market test their product using Quirky.com.
So I checked it out to see if Quirky is worthwhile, and it looks like it might be worth a shot if you're going to be trying to crowdfund an issuance for a more traditional product. Submissions to the community cost $10 and you might have to "work it" for a little while on the website to get people to actually take the time to evaluate your product. Here's how the process works:
